1 ½ bath models are quickly gaining popularity in 5th wheels. This design has been incorporated into large motorhomes for years, and Carriage tried unsuccessfully to introduce this design to 5th wheels 5 years ago. But now it’s been refined and meets the need of many full timer customers for several reasons. The front bath is spacious and livable. The bedroom can be increased in size for more space around the bed and more nightstands available. Those with “tired” knees or hips have a half bath downstairs to reduce trips up and down the steps. And guests have their own bathroom for increased privacy for all. We expect to see this design continue to appeal to more an more customers, who find practicality in the unique design. Cyclone has even created a front bath in one of their toy haulers, which makes a lot of sense for some owners, who have desire more spaciousness and privacy with guests or children traveling with them.
